In the above drawing of scenography by fancy scallop in year 2009, three motifs inspired by painting and sketches of Goethe and Wagner on white paper and mounted on large canvas are painted. Looking at it carefully, the landscape near the lake in Goethe’s “Der Freischütz” is observed not with the eyes and sight but with the understanding of the sight of the environment through artistic drawing. When one knows about the beauty of the view, one can easily appreciate the drawn picture in the woods. When one learns about the nature, the map and drawing depict the scenery like a live view of scene. In painting, map and drawing have a very important role to provide landscape and scenery to all the onlookers. In landscape drawing, what is a genuine masterpiece and extraordinary art are the pictures drawn with a fine attitude. One can easily understand the work in drawing landscape only by appreciating a particular scenario. Nature and scene are the major focus for the picturing of scenography. Therefore, the environment and land view of scene are not merely observed but actually drawn and painted on large canvas with detailed process. What is great is to draw nature not only as scenery but also as picture. A fine art landscape should be a picture painting of the land. Similarly, making landscape painting is an artistic sketching, which gives view and scene depiction through artist. In the example of the scenery of this year, we drew several landscape as scenery painting which were made into the picture painting.
